Pakatan Rakyat (PR) especially Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) should learn from its loss of power in Perak and be more careful when choosing of the candidates for elections in the future. Parti Keadilan Rakyat should put more emphasis on the quality of candidates and their objectives of wanting to become good politicians.
This is a time for them to improve the quality of their members. This is a reminder for all the members to be loyal and work for their common interest. Loss of power in Perak not only effect for Parti Keadilan Rakyat but for all the components of Pakatan Rakyat.
Recapture of Perak by Barisan Nasional (BN) was not only a sign of victory for Barisan Nasional but also helped improved the reputation of the in waiting Prime Minister, Dato Sri Najib Tun Razak.
Basically, politics is all about servicing the people and no matter which party is the rulling government, policies which were good for the people must to continue. Rakyat of Perak was very clear about what they thought of Barisan Nasional governance in the past.
With the good results by Pakatan Rakyat in the past 10 months, the rakyat would surely make comparison between Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional now. From now onward, Barisan Nasional will have to work harder to gain the acceptance of the people in Perak, who had voted for Pakatan Rakyat in the March 8, 2008 general election.
